American School Counseling Recognized Model Program (RAMP)
This article describes the components of a national model of counseling as developed by the ASCA (American School Counselors Association). The counseling program at Lebanon High School is modeled after this program and the counselors regularly use data to evaluate the effectiveness of their ‘s efforts.
Our Mission
The mission of the Lebanon School District’s school counseling program is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career and personal/social development of all students. Lebanon High School’s counselors are professionals, who, in cooperative partnerships with administrators, teachers, parents, community members, and agencies, provide a comprehensive program to assist students in maximizing their potential. We strive to provide students with the tools and knowledge necessary to cope with life issues, and be prepared with the skills required to accomplish their personal goals and become productive members of society.

Personal & Social Issues ResourcesIn addition to the assistance provided through the counseling department, Lebanon High School offers those in need the S.T.A. R. program. The S.T.A.R. program (Students Troubled and At-Risk) gives parents, teachers, and students the ability to confidentially refer individuals that they feel are in need of help because of drug and alcohol issues, mental health concerns or varied other reasons. |
